This blade used to be called the ****25. We can’t even legally say its old name anymore. As Jocko would say, ‘GOOD.’ It’s time to pivot and march forward. The new name for our SERE-inspired blade: REDACTED.

The Redacted stands as our most specialized tactical survival blade, built to surpass the exacting standards of Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape operations. With its optimized five-inch blade, the Redacted delivers exceptional capability in a field-ready package.

Engineered to withstand extreme abuse when stakes are highest, this knife excels in critical scenarios when failure isn’t an option. Whether you’re rapidly processing wood for an emergency fire, constructing an improvised shelter, or fabricating survival tools, the Redacted is your go-to companion when all else fails.

THICK, REINFORCED BLADE TIP

The Redacted’s drop point blade with a high saber grind is engineered for maximum tip durability during the most demanding survival tasks.

Unlike traditional bushcraft techniques, real SERE operations often require jamming the knife tip into wood, then twisting and hammering to rapidly process kindling or build emergency shelters. We’ve reinforced the Redacted’s blade geometry to handle this punishing technique while maintaining precision for more delicate tasks. This knife excels at wood processing, shelter building, and creating emergency tools — the foundation of wilderness survival.

CERAKOTE MAGNACUT STAINLESS STEEL BLADE

The Redacted features a 4 7/8-inch drop point blade made of premium Cerakote MagnaCut stainless steel for maximum durability and minimal rust and glare.

We don’t compromise when it comes to steel, and the Redacted is no exception. It’s tough enough to baton through dense materials, precise enough for intricate tasks, and always ready for critical situations.

COMBAT-READY G10 HANDLE WITH A TACTICAL TEXTURE

The Redacted features a full-sized ergonomic G10 handle with our signature tactical texture pattern on the flats for a secure grip in any condition.

Designed with a palm swell that prevents rotation during hard use and flat sides that provide positive indexing, this handle stays secure even when wet, muddy, or bloody. The forward thumb ramp allows for precision control when needed, while the handle’s overall design facilitates multiple grip positions for different survival tasks. The integrated finger guard protects your hand during the most demanding cutting and prying operations.

INTEGRATED STEEL POMMEL

The Redacted’s extended tang forms a robust pommel designed for hammering, pounding, and emergency impact tasks.

Whether you’re driving stakes, breaking materials, or using the knife in a hammer grip to baton wood, this reinforced pommel takes the abuse so your handle doesn’t have to. We’ve carefully integrated this feature while maintaining the knife’s overall balance and ensuring the lanyard hole remains protected from impact damage.

EXCLUSIVE MKC TACTICAL KYDEX SHEATH

Each Redacted comes with a custom-molded MKC and extremely durable Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention system with adjustable tension for secure carrying in any environment. Configurable for horizontal or vertical carry and compatible with our quick-attach system, the Redacted sheath ensures your knife is always accessible when needed but secured when not in use.

FREE SHARPENING FOR LIFE & BEYOND

MKC Generations® is our promise to restore your knife to its original, unmatched working condition.

MKC will clean, sharpen, repair, and even reshape your blades when necessary, as well as rewrap paracord handles, free of charge.

While we perform all necessary sharpening and maintenance, our aim is not to return your knife to its brand new appearance. Learn more about the MKC Generations® promise.

Just Awsome
This knife is Perfect! I knew it was gonna be tough but that’s an understatement. The only thing bad I can say, is that I waited so long to get one . This knife is a tough ergonomic and just feels good in your hand. Perfect for hunting, camping and is definitely my new EDC when I’m out in the woods.

Camping/Bushcraft Titan!
Absolutely gorgeous workhorse. The feel/texture of the handle ensures no slipping regardless of how wet the handle gets, the weight is perfect for its size, the pommel handles smashing superbly. The Redacted is knife #2 in less than a month from MKC with knife #3 already on its way. I purchased the Redacted based only on the reviews here, and I couldn't be happier.

Perfect!
Took my Redacted out on a camping trip shortly after receiving it. It batoned wood for my fire bigger than it should have. Made my tinder and kindling and cut my steak too. Definitely one of my favorite blades!
