Waste no time deliberating with yourself on how to justify purchasing another illumination device. Just understand that this is one beautiful little piece of equipment. Measuring in at two and a half inches long, by one and a half inches high, by one inch deep and weighing less than a pack of cigarettes. My favorite thing about this USB-C rechargeable device is the simple operation of OFF - HI - LOW - RED and a hands-free mode, (push-button activated) which you just wave your hand zero to 6 inches directly in front of the light and it turns the white light (Hi) on, another wave turns on the RED filter waving a third time will turn off the unit. Accompanied with a non-removable premium elasticized 1 inch wide head strap and branded with their beautiful orange MKC logo. My favorite is the hidden feature of that head strip mount that also doubles as a built-in belt clip. I am presuming that this is a product that is made in America because I cannot find any kind of embossing that say it's made anywhere at all so I will presume it's American made and we save the money by leaving out the embossing. I have no long-term data on this since it was recently acquired and has not been used out in the field it has been tested thoroughly in the home but again I have no metrics on how long the light lasts how many lumens it is, how water resistant it is, how durable it is. And still not knowing all those things I am not going to hesitate taking this out into the field with me on my next…

I purchased this light as I needed a new headlamp for deer season. I knew I wanted the red light as a built in option for low light movement to maintain stealth, this light checked that box. More so upon receiving I was extremely pleased not just due to the redlight and high/ low option of the main beam but just the simple operation. No fumbling just great operation plain and simple with an extremely easy fail proof operating system. removes the concern for potentially turning on the wrong color spectrum or accidentally flagging yourself due to light visibility with the locking feature.
Worth every penny spent!
