PARACORD-WRAPPED HANDLE

The skeletonized tang wrapped in 550 paracord delivers ultralight performance without sacrificing grip or comfort.

After machining away every unnecessary gram from the steel tang, we wrapped it in genuine 550 paracord to create a secure, comfortable grip. The paracord serves double duty, providing excellent traction in wet conditions while giving you emergency cordage when needed. Whether you’re fixing a broken bootlace or hanging meat, the paracord is there when you need it.

    Getting ready for Deer Season, I like to field dress my Whitetail deer before I make the trek back to the truck.

    First MKC Purchase

    Right out the gate I would say so far so good! I am taking the knife hunting this weekend and probably should have waited on the review but…

    Couple of notes and thoughts:

    -MKC box (not the shipping packaging the box came in) was ripped/torn upon arrival…no big deal for me it’s just a box…but I know some folks in the primo knife world may have taken issue with that (I only mention too as we own multiple retail locations and know the importance of packaging/presentation to customers and would like the same feedback).

    -Upon opening the box IT WAS AWESOME. It was like a little special present just to me. Wrapping and the wrapping style paper was really cool, sticker was cool, info card cool; ya’ll really nailed it. Graphics💪🏼💪🏼

    - the knife sat a little high and proud in kydex sheath for me both on the hip and in my bag when clipped (I carry a Filson to work and something similar to the tree stand) it was no big deal, the clip was easily removed and adjusted to sit a little deeper for my preference and the retention seemed to remain fine

    - one of the tails of paracord mysteriously was severed down to a single strand…no clue how this happened as it was in my bag, inside of the sheath, was not used during the day (still have yet to use the knife on even a piece of paper), and there was nothing sharp in the bag…no big deal again as I planned on cutting the tails in the near future to shorten them up some (you can see in the pictures included the difference in my cut piece of…

    My new EDC

    Used for my EDC on my last underway. The knife is so light you forget it’s in your pocket. Worked flawlessly doing small task like cutting rope. I took off the carry clip and just fits perfect in the pocket.

    First MKC Knife

    Love this knife. I wear it every day. Been following along with MKC’s journey for 5 years. Finally was able to get my own. I was shocked at how light weight it is. It’s very very sharp. Super excited to field dress this years harvest. I love this company and I’d love to work for them someday!

    Small, but mighty!

    Although I own over 10 MKC Knives, the Mini Stoned Goat always joins in on the activities. Whether it’s camping, hunting birds, fishing or hunting big game I take it to the field with confidence! As always, great work MKC!!
